Long Beach’s Community Hospital can open by Jan. 1, and its incoming CEO Virgis Narbutas said it’s his goal to make that happen.
The announcement came during a Community Hospital Long Beach Task Force on Monday, July 30, where Narbutas introduced himself to the community and brandished his credentials as a Long Beach resident for more than 30 years.
“In my mind, I want to take that first patient January 1,” Narbutas said. “I’m trying to be realistic. If we can get it sooner, that’s great.”
